This is the 131 step guide to completely disassemble a Mini Sega, split into four parts for ease of page loading.

Before I begin, you should be aware I have no engineering qualifications or experience and I'm not affiliated with Sega, I'm simply an enthusiast. Any errors or omissions are my responsibility, and you should exercise caution when following this guide. It's recommended to read through this guide, and any associated guides first before proceeding, to familiarise yourself with the process, and have the correct tools before proceeding, which should simply be a flat blade screwdriver and spanners. The payout mechanism uses split pins and it's recommended to renew these for the eventual reassembly, as reusing the old ones may break.

Care should be taken when disassembling a machine, to prevent loss of fixings, and it's recommended that notes be made regarding arrangement of fixings applicable to a part. Grip seal bags provide an excellent storage option for your parts, but whatever your method of storage, it's recommend to store any fixings associated with the removed part together for ease of reassembly later.

Parts are virtually identical from machine to machine, but the fixings used to secure them may differ. Any parts or fixings referenced here refer to the machine being disassembled, and may not correlate to your machine. The machine used for this guide is a later model. Parts from earlier models may differ slightly. The same machine is used for the reassembly guide.

And so we begin:
